This Privacy Policy informs users of Merkur Gaming App, hereinafter called “You”, about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the responsible provider (adp Gauselmann GmbH, Merkur-Allee 1-15, 32339 Espelkamp, Germany), hereinafter called “Merkur Gaming”, “we” or “us”.
You may use the app anonymously, i. e. without registering or logging in. You may alternatively decide to log in to your Merkur Gaming account. You cannot create a new Merkur Gaming account from within the app; you can only use a previously existing account. Logging in to your Merkur Gaming account may allow you to access specific information or features of the app. Your Merkur Gaming account data, including user name, real name, business role and e-mail address, is processed by us in accordance with the provisions of German data protection law.
The POI (point of interest) feature can automatically show information about Merkur Gaming products in your immediate proximity. This is intended for use at trade shows and exhibitions. If you decide to use the POI feature, we search your environment for nearby Bluetooth beacons in order to determine which product you are close to. This happens only if and when the POI feature is visible on the screen of your device. Location data is only used on your device. Location data is never stored or transmitted to anyone.
You can contact us free of charge with questions regarding the collection, processing or use of your personal data and their correction, blocking or deletion.
We take privacy very seriously and have taken adequate steps to ensure that your personal data is kept secure.
